Tools Of The Trade...
I'm overjoyed to report the pups have settled into their new enclosure well and caught on to the purpose of each section. Nearly immediately. I think only one accident on the cot so far and that happened within the first hour or so. Since then they've been sleeping on the cot... or under it, using the shavings to do their business and enjoying free range of fresh water.
Along with their move they were introduced to their first bath and did phenomenal. Not as much as a whimper from any of them. Not one. :-) The transition is always a bit bittersweet for me. I miss being able to look over upon them as I watch TV in the evening. But on the other hand it opens up my room to share with the other residents here. I miss that quality time with each dog when I have pups. The only thing I have somewhat of an issue with... Missing that time with the others.

Sometimes I photograph... sometimes not. Sometimes they're on the deck... sometimes given free range to explore. The weather has been great for getting them out... And their confidence is building. Environmentally, we're still fighting the yellow flies! Some days are definitely worse than others and while the dastardly things torment me to no end, they don't seem to bother the pups much. Or my adults for that matter. They land on them and I know they bite because it's just what they do. And one day I noticed a bead of blood on Hot's nose... But the dogs seem unphased. Fortunately.
The pups seem to like the Hustler... actually they like things they can get under or near. Safety mechanism maybe. Which isn't a bad thing except when it comes to photos. Helps them to avoid becoming prey to large birds. Smart little buggers.
