So with construction done... at least for now, I've finally got my house fairly well back to normal. Normal with the addition of some improvements. Unfortunately, there are a couple things that are going to require a rework so painting the room is going to have to sit on the back burner pending the revision. I allowed myself 3-4 days for a project while with pups but those days turned into 5+. And now we're entering the phase where Majestic will be taking the backseat to yours truly as far as pup care is concerned. It's hard to believe these pups will be ready for the first of their solid food (mash) and the beginnings of their outdoor adventures in a week! The time for me has flat out flown by!
Majestic, as you can see from the photos, continues to be an excellent mom spending most of her time with her eight pack. Just recently though, I've noticed her laying, even if only briefly, on the ottoman assessing things from a distance. But she never ventures far. Always maintaining awareness of what's going on with her pups.
The pups themselves are right on track with their milestones. They're getting around pretty well -walking but without much coordination. They're also becoming much more vocal and the past couple days I've noticed the beginnings of some play activity.
