Weights Posted!

Our pups were all weighed again today and although I am starting to see some difference in size I was a bit surprised by their actual weights...  in a good way!  5 of the girls achieved average gain, one just slightly more than average and 2 of them have obviously taken weight gain to heart and are challenging the boys! Red is currently our lightweight but only by an ounce. 
I compared the weights of this litter with those of the last. It's not a perfect comparison as the last litter was weighed on day 9 and it's only day 8 for theses pups. I'm overjoyed with the results! Lexi's first  litter was strong and produced some gorgeous good sized pups.  This litter is starting out stronger.  The breakdown: Her previous litter, in ounces, 25.4 to 31.8   The range for this litter, again a day early in comparison, 28 to 37 ounces. We've got some strong healthy pups here people! 
 No photos today, sorry!  I know everyone looks forward to them but they just didn't happen.  I assure you though, the pups look pretty much the same today as they did yesterday!  I do have some news though!  Some have learned to bark and Brown and Orange have learned to growl. I discovered that when I was trying to adjust their collars yesterday.  Apparently they didn't appreciate being held in place. I love listening to them. I love watching them!  They are memorizing!
