Weights were taken and posting this morning. For a large litter, I'm very happy with the results. Will weigh again in a few days and in the meantime I'll keep an eye on the two smallest ones, Sky a male and Pink a female. The prize for heavy weight male goes to our first born, Grey collared boy. And for the girls, the big girl prize goes to Orange. Everyone continues to do awesome! Majestic was a little more comfortable leaving her pups and was agreeable to going out to do her business without me allowing me to complete a needed linen change for her and the pups. These guys are growing... fast. I think they look bigger than they did this morning. But the most unbelievable thing is the increase in their strength in just 2 days. They are maneuvering around the whelping pool with a bit of speed and they're already climbing up Majestic to rest on her back. Black I've noticed likes to talk with his mouth full. Especially when he senses another pup encroaching on his territory. They are sweet little things and Majestic seems to be loving them! As promised a few photos taken last night and throughout the day today.

What beautiful babies!!! Love the little one nuzzling over his Mama's muzzle and the great story about little boy "black" vocalizing with his mouth full of food...too precious!! Sounds like he is already bursting with personality :) Thank you so much for posting the pics and sharing stories. We enjoy it tremendously.

Not sure if you already addressed, when are you open for us to come by for a visit? I happen to have driven through this weekend and have a trip planned to North FL Oct 3-6 (Thurs-Sun or Mon). Also, paypal invoice us whenever you are ready :) We are excited to have the privilege to add one of Majestic & Serious's pups to our family.

Hi Katie, The question of visits hasn't been addressed but is usually one of the first questions to pop up. It's not recommended for the health of the pups to expose them to much from the outside until they're at least 4 weeks old and at least that long for the sanity of the mom. Your dates are right in there for a visit but typically I open things up for visits when the pups are roughly 6 weeks so people can start to get an idea of which pup or pups might suit them best. A couple litters back, I had lots of people very local and opened things up at 4 weeks. Because people were so close I told them they could come as many times as they wanted to meet and interact with the pups. In hindsight that wasn't the best decision. I felt it took too much time away from the act of really caring for the pups and of keeping those that couldn't come so frequently updated appropriately. That shouldn't be a problem with this litter though since no one is very local. Considering all of that and the fact that I work weekends I'm going to have to be somewhat flexible. I'm not sure how often you're in the area or what days of the week but honestly, as far as personality etc goes, it's not very apparent at 4 weeks. 4 weeks is about the time they start to really walk well and start to eat mash with some gusto. 4 weeks is also the time when they are first introduced to the great outdoors and I think that's what really brings them to life. By the time they're six weeks they're getting a pretty good idea what play is and become a lot of fun to interact with.... I know you're anxious but we've got lots of time to talk about it and lots of puppy to see. If those are the dates that work best for you though I'll make one of them work on my end too.

Deb, thank you for your quick response. We, of course, digress to whatever is best for you, Majestic and her pups. I happen to have several trips planned to Orlando, Ormond Beach & Jacksonville coming up (this weekend, Oct 3 -6 & Oct 12 -13) and have no problem adding one more in there when you feel comfortable having visitors =)!
