Between litters is my time to catch up on everything else, dog and non-dog related. I've been working at finding someone reputable to disc and seed my horse pasture for some time now. A couple years actually. With the economy such that it is, I'm surprised finding that someone has proven to be such a difficult task. But once again, I've got a guy lined up who not only says he can disc my field but who is also prepared and willing to deal with a recently fallen tree. We'll see what Thursday brings. Also in the works, and ongoing is general cleaning... both inside and out. And training. But for some exciting news. I'm preparing once again for incoming! Got My Back Dobermans is excited and proud to announce a decision to add a pup to our kennel has been made. This little girl is currently in Pittsburgh, imported in-utero from Von Liopiris Kennels in Greece. I've named her Calla Ritza, which in her country of origin means "The most beautiful-protector of man". She comes with a pedigree any Doberman owner would be proud of and I'm overjoyed to have the opportunity to add her to my home. And in time, likely to our breeding program. While I've really never had an interest in showing, I'm holding the possibility open for this girl. Time will tell but Calla holds great promise and potential as she comes from a strong show as well as working line. Stay tuned for lots more of Got My Back's Calla Ritza Von Schwarz! |
