New Digs... And Tails!

Just wanted to assure everyone Getka and the pups have adjusted quite well to their new habitat. I think Getka is enjoying it. More room and a larger ottoman. Doubt the pups noticed since they can't see or hear yet. In any event everyone's doing great and new weights are posted. Boys are running a little bigger than the girls for the most part with just a couple exceptions. But wow... look at Copper go! Born the heaviest... and a girl no less... and retains that title today! Yellow isn't far behind and is giving the boys a run for their money!

Morning. Thanks for the update. Getting bigger everyday. Getka seems content in her ottoman as she has a great view of her beautiful puppies.

Yes, The moms historically have loved their ottomans. All the dogs love them actually. Great dog beds. I love them too. Set one up along the side of the truck for any dog that has trouble getting in or out. Ie vet visits for hugely pregnant moms etc. Toss it in the bed for the return trip. So far it's worked well as I've only had to travel/transport under those conditions under sunny skies.

I can definitely relate, Ruby loved her ottoman too. it was her own piece of furniture.

It's so wonderful to see the babies doing well, and follow the process outlined with this litter. I feel very prepared for my baby from ritzy! I have been thinking about her all night at work (really most nights). I hope she is as calm and relaxed as she can be. Getka seems to be in her groove, and I'm sure Ritz will be too. Excuse me while I check the website like a crazy woman for the next few days until we have a litter update haha. Good luck Deb! I hope things go smooth for all!!

Thanks Rebecca. Ritz is very calm... sleeping a lot. Saving up her energy I guess. She's generally very calm leading up to pups and while delivering. She worried me a little with her first litter actually. Too calm. Sleeping between pups etc. But it's just her.
And we're still waiting.

I am honored to hopefully own a baby from such a stoic and majestic mama. Being cool under pressure is a desirable trait for any companion human or dog haha!
