Five and a Half Weeks
I think I got short changed on picture day. The day was getting long and for the sake of saving time Sky and I were out together. I doubt any time was saved in actuality because we weren't being overly cooperative and mainly just wanted to play. Not sure what's going on but Sky is catching up to me in size. It seems I too am a little behind on the growth chart. We're past due for weights but I can tell I've fallen behind... Like Sky I feel fine, I'm eating and playing and simply doing what pups do. Since I wan't born small I think I'm destined to be big and will prove to be a good sized Doberman!
Week Six!
I'm Blue, not Blue as in feeling blue; I'm as spunky as all the rest. I'm Blue as in Navy Blue. I'm also one of the thus far unchosen. I must say I find this predicament a bit surprising as I'm probably the sweetest pup of the bunch. Well maybe I'll have to exclude Linus but I didn't get the extra coddling he got. I'm just naturally sweet. Momma Deb says I'm probably in the same boat as Tan because I'm the smallest of the bunch. She says people seem to like their Dobes big. Especially their boys! Personally I believe I might grow to surprise some people but only time will tell. Regardless, I'm a compact little boy with a heart of gold! I do however retain the Doberman right to defend myself if the situation presents itself. And as you can see, I've lost the rib-by look you saw last week. Truth be told, I've actually taken on somewhat of a stocky look.
