Some people came to visit today!
Before they arrived mamma deb sat us down and explained they were coming with the intention of claiming one of us to join their family. What??? Just one? Huh?
Well we played on and about the blanket they sat upon. We chewed their ankles and each other and basically just did the stuff we always do. For some reason, Pink was staying under the radar and didn't really draw much attention. I listened as they talked. And I basically turned the other cheek while they entertained and talked most about my sisters Orange and Red. Then all the sudden... I mean like out of the blue all of the sudden... I heard them say, "we'll take Purple". Even mamma deb seemed surprised; "Purple"?
I guess I did something right somewhere along the line. Anyway, I'll be heading to a place by the name of Winter Park in a couple weeks... I hope it's not cold there! Mamma deb said it won't be... She also said one of my brothers is moving there too. I'd like to think I might be able to see him on occasion... maybe schedule a play date or something... but I guess I'll have to leave that up to our humans. I for one though, would be all in for it! Oh by the way; I have a new name and I love it. Katy and Rick call me "Xena", as in "Xena Warrior Princess". I am Warrior. I am Xena. I am Doberman!!! And I am loved!
