New Weights Are Posted!

And Black is the Star! He gained nearly three pounds in the course of a week! Amazing. I guess Jen was right!!! During our "open house" last weekend Black spent a great deal of time sleeping. So much so that at one point mid day I had to steal him away and give him a once over. He seemed fine, just sleepy and content to get some extra lap time. Jen commented that he was probably just experiencing a growth spurt.... Seems that was a very accurate assessment. Good job Jen!

He is a big boy Nick and Beautiful! For clarifications sake though, I'm not sure the photo that's attached to the post is Black. More, it's just a pup sitting by the scale so it seemed appropriate. Might be Black? Sorry if it was misleading. I don't want you to look at the photo and then another down the road, notice a slight discrepancy in markings and think I did a switch on ya.

That thought never even crossed my mind! I honestly thought he grew so fast new markings popped up on his paws or I just hadn't noticed them before.

Thanks, I'm glad the thought never crossed your mind because it's not something I'd ever do.... I checked the markings on Xypher's paws and legs. He's got only the very slightest bit of Black on the ankle area and that will eventually disappear completely. The black markings typically fade some as they mature. He's a great pup and has recovered well from his "growth spurt"! Full of energy now so you better go out and buy another pair of jogging shoes! lol
