April 17th: Aric Goes First!
Aric drove up with his Dad and DoberDog Bo to choose his pup and found as you may have read, it was no easy task! It was fun to watch him interact with the pups and I could see the wheels turning but in the end I think one of Aric's favorites basically picked him. Aric brought Bo with him hoping he might somehow help in the decision process and although I didn't notice it at the time, while reviewing the photos, I believe he did in fact help. Bo is a beautiful Dog and extremely well behaved for his age! I've included a couple pictures of him but I'm not sure they really do him justice. For a while it seemed Bo and Orange might be a good match but when it comes down to it Bo is so gentle, any of the pups would have quickly warmed to him. And another tough decision is made! For awhile there we were all mingling about, chatting and watching and just enjoying a pretty day! Sharon and Jared seemed to have differing opinions at one point... come to think of it though, so did Aric and his dad! Actually, it seems the more people involved in the decision process the longer it takes to come to a conclusion ;-) The pups seem to gravitate towards certain people and the people toward different pups. I remember an entire family coming to choose a pup from the last litter and I was really beginning to believe they would never be able to come to an agreement. I've had people, on more than one occasion, come to the conclusion that it's so difficult to decide that they contemplated two pups... That however, is an idea I don't recommend. It's always fun to watch the process and while I can help by describing each pups personality it's ultimately up to the people and the pups.

I took a few photos of the remaining girls, made some calls and waited for decisions which actually came pretty quick.
I think Red Darby had already worked her magic on Maggie and Jim during their visit a week or so back.
Nicole and Brian decided Orange Remi was the girl for them.
Virgilio and Glenn were vacationing in Mexico when they got the news and can't wait to meet their pup Baby!
There were no losers here! These are all great pups!!! I would have had a really tough time choosing
myself!
