Lexi has been a fabulous mom to your pups and she's raised an incredible litter. Every pup is special to me and I'm confident every last one of them will be entering a fantastic home with people who are very well prepared to take them on! If I'm not mistaken, I expect to see Jen, Michaela, Jim and Virgilio tomorrow (likely today by the time this post appears). Xen, Kimber, Darby and Baby will be the first to leave the nest. Ditto goes home Tuesday with Kristin and Xypher Thursday with Nick. I'll call those of you who plan to collect your pups Monday once I have their health certificates in hand. The rest of the pups are scheduled for cropping Tuesday as planned and will be ready to venture off with their new families Wednesday. They'll actually be ready Tuesday after the procedure but I really like to keep them over night to watch them simply because at this point I know them best and would be quick to identify a pup who isn't acting quite right. Just a safety precaution even though I've never had a post crop problem.
I changed things up a bit with this litter by posting in blog form and have kind of slipped on updating the individual pages. I'll be retrieving some of the best photos taken over the past couple weeks and will complete each pups page when things settle. The photos on the blog will eventually be buried or archived but the individual pages will stand under "past litters". I really hope our relationship doesn't end here. As I've done in the past, I'll continue to add photos sent to me to the pages. It should also be said, while I look forward to and enjoy hearing about puppy antics and seeing photos as the pups mature, I also want to hear about any issues. Hopefully there will be few to none and no major ones. My concern for my pups is never ending. I'm here for the duration and for any questions or concerns that may arise. Should they arise, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail. If I don't have an answer, I'll do what I can to find one.
I'll see everyone soon!
