Lots Of Cuteness!

Starting to look like Dobermans!!!

Let there be light! And vision...  The pups eyes are open and with that there will big and quick changes forthcoming! At this stage in the game the only thing they can really see are shadows of vision which will gradually increase in acuity over the next several weeks. The addition of sight, even if only shadows to begin with, really brings about an awakening. But also a bit of fear. I spent some time today cuddling each pup. Placed each on their backs on my lap until they felt secure in that position. They actually did great!!! Minimal or no fear and settled right in to position with near no struggle. I noticed a few litters back, if not fully handled as soon as eyes begin to open, their vision actually elicits a fear response when a large object (myself) approaches and scoops them up. From that I deduct lots of handling over the next few days is critical.  Well... not really critical. Said pups turned out fine...  But definitely beneficial. And I'm happy to obliges.  These pups are already turning into cuddlers! Snuggle bugs and neck warmers.... 

I sent invoices to each of you last night... and thus far I've only received response to a couple. If you're serious about making one of these babes your own... better pay up. :-)
