I usually don't complain much about it... I actually like the rain. I enjoy what comes with it. The feeling of freshness and the greenery it brings. I even like thunderstorms. But it clearly seems we've gone from greenery and freshness to waterlogged. Ready for a break and so are the pups. I've been trying to do a mom and pup photo series but I'm only about half way through it.
For now, here's a a link that I've shared in the past regarding socialization, critical periods and pups. From my experience the stages are fairly accurate and I can't stress enough the importance of socialization. Worth the read I think. She does a good job of outlining the balance between the need for socialization as well as the importance of protecting pups, while not overprotecting, during the time of incomplete immunity from communicable disease.
