Well, I'm happy to report an uneventful weekend and untroubled day. My heart is healing and I've gotten back into my well known routine. Started the morning off by taking Jobe to class and was happy to see he remembered some of the things we worked on last week. His "Watch Me" is considerably better and will help with everything he'll learn down the road.
We enjoyed visits again. Nick and Michelle stopped by last night for some puppy play time and this morning Nick stopped by on his way back to S.C. in order, for the first time, to see the boys frolic and explore the great outdoors. He and Michelle struggled and contemplated but at the end of the day our first pup of the litter has been chosen. White has been claimed and will be traveling back and forth between S.C. and Florida. I anticipate a pretty strong bond to develop between Nick and his boy as Dobes tend to love road trips and to go where ever their humans are willing to take them.
The afternoon was spent snapping photos of the Boys and Purple. I'll combine today's shots with the pictures I took last week and update the pages tonight.
This evening we welcomed Matt and Jamie who came once again to see the girls. Tonight's adventure was a indoor affair and the pups enjoyed not only the company of their callers but that of Keeper, my Maine Coon kitten, as well. Keeps played with the pups like he was one of the pack providing some entertainment for all!
Tomorrow Allison and Robert plan a re-visit and we'll get the chance to meet Jeff and his family for the first time. Then Brian and Trish will return Wednesday and Jack and Gail Thursday.
Let me know if anyone else would like to come.
I will finish the weights tonight and get them posted and once again administer the pups their wormers. Tomorrow at some point, they will receive the first of their vaccines.
And with that, today we hit the 6 week mark leaving just over 2 weeks left to go!
I must say, the time has certainly flown right by!
