Socializing Your Pup!

I absolutely can't stress the importance of this enough! Dobe's need lots of socialization. Early and ongoing. The more the better... People, a variety of places and other animals.
The Blog below is really about the best I've come across on the subject. It basically covers all the bases. I've shared it in the past and have had great feedback on it, so I'm sharing again. I hope all will take the time to read it.

Thank you Debi, a good read, including all the comments. Our last dobie was socialized from the very beginning, meeting new people almost every day, seeing new places, and meeting other animals. Of course other pets in the house helped too. Our new pup will be going to work with me some days........lots of noises at an airport and people

So true. We try to take our boy everywhere with us and now when we get Athena we will be doing the same. But I totally agree.
