Well, it goes without saying, it's been a busy few days around here... ! But good ones. The haves' have tolerated their meds both for coccidia, now complete, and ears as well as routine ear care itself very well. The have nots' basically going with the flow... life as they've always known it. Finally late last evening I was able to sit down and update the pup pages with week eight photos that I've taken here and there over the course of the week. Then came the process of preparing group two for their big day. The have nots, were delivered to the clinic early this morning for the litters final session of breed specific beautification. Along for the ride came Jinx in hopes of getting a green light for her to go so Trent and Paula could officially make her theirs this afternoon. I'm happy to report Jinx received the obviously sought after clean bill of health. and is officially the first pup to have left the building! I'm looking forward to adding a week 9 photo to her page taken from the setting of her new environment. It's always good to see, even if only through photos, how the pups settle with their families.
My thoughts again, with the pups left this morning at the clinic, are for the most part at ease. Based on Jinx's report, and the fact all pups received the same course of treatment, I and their Vet expect they too will also receive their travelin' papers. The fact that I've received no calls and it's nearly time for me to go collect them is a great sign. The weather on the other hand has taken a crappy turn as compared to this morning's blue skies. Once again we've got gray... and downpours! Ugh! A look at the radar shows a narrow band passing over but another wider one on it's tail. I'm hoping to catch that space of time between the two for my trip to and from Wildwood!
More to come!
