I don't have kids of the two legged variety. But the dogs- they are my kids. Each, like all kids with their own unique personalities. Majestic has been such an incredible mom and I can honestly say each of you waiting for one of her pups is in for a treat. Between her and I doing what we do, she's got some gorgeous and very much loved progeny out there. And I expect this litter to be no different. I'm saddened that timing is such it prevents me from keeping one of her offspring as my own. Had always thought I would... had always wanted to but I really need to regain stability within the pack before adding additional Dobermans whether they be of my own breeding or others. Even so, I get enjoyment knowing they will, like others before them, bring great joy to their people. But it must be remembered they're babies. Babies with great potential! As pups, there will be trials and challenges of course but in the end, if you do your part, Dobermans truly are the best companions you can ask for. I always say the end result is directly related to the time and attention invested along the way. Invest in them... and they will bring you happiness beyond measure. Many of you know this... you've experience the breed in the past or are current guardians. For those of you new to the breed all I can say is don't waste their incredible intelligence. Use and exercise their brain! These dogs truly can do it all. They've got what it takes. You just need to ask and provide the direction. Each of you were selected to be care takers of these pups based on my belief, through conversation, that you have what it takes to meet their needs. Once their needs are met, the sky is the limit. They truly do aim to please! While waiting for your pups, reading posts and viewing photos, I'd love to hear you've also researched the breed. Read... watch some training videos and gear up. Be prepared. Be prepared to have some fun but make it fun with a purpose.
