It's kind of like wishing ones life away to hope for a quick end to the work week but I frequently find myself doing just that. And once again, the work week is complete. I move from caring for the weak and frail to nurturing the young and exuberant and maybe that's why a so enjoy raising pups. It creates a certain balance in my life.
I always enjoy leaving the workday behind for the peace of the country and the warm and wacky welcoming I receive from my critters. The pups are no exception now. It's apparent they too are excited when I get home! Their appetites are growing leaps and bounds and I think they're likely feeling a little on the famished side after my long day away. This week I'll introduce them to kibble and by next weekend they should be sustaining themselves on kibble alone leaving the days of puppy pate' behind.
I've got another busy week in store but fortunately within an element of my choosing and one which I adore.
