Well, I must be honest. It's really good to have my work week behind me! All the critters are fed and settled and I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with the little ones this week as my time with them is getting short. They're starting to demand attention and it's great to return home to nine little lives that are so happy to see me! Their excitement and acknowledgement of my arrival has a way of washing away all in the day that may have been less than desirable.
Tomorrow I'll get everyone weighed again and wormed.... and work toward completing photos for their individual pages. It's a time consuming process that becomes more difficult as time goes on because they become ever more active with each passing week. It's an activity I enjoy though, combining two of my favorite things, pups and photography. Someday I'll invest in a better camera... one that's a bit more capable of capturing action shots. But for now I'm stuck with what's available. At least I have some good and fun subjects to work with.
This week marks a milestone too.... the first of the pup vaccines which will be administered Tuesday. And I'll continue to attempt to wean them from their mash. They're spoiled I think and prefer a warm and mushy meal over the hard and crunchy! They play at eating their crunchies but that's about it so far.
Friday evening will bring another visitor and I expect Erica to choose her girl. Then a week from today, Monday, our 1st boy will be chosen. Your wait is drawing to an end. I hope everyone is getting prepared to incorporate a little bundle of love and energy into their homes.
