Nina Leaves The Nest!

Cooki and Frank arrived this morning to collect the pup they've been waiting for for a long time. Apparently Nina's grown some in the past couple weeks as Cooki took one look at her and proclaimed "she looks like a dog already"! And it's true... these pups get down to business when it comes to growing. They'll grow amazingly fast in the next few months. Now is the time to get a handle on them.
Don't let their young age fool you. 

Nina joins Cooki and Frank who do some breeding themselves... of Poodles.
She will be the big dog at home, rule the roost and I'm quite sure Cooki's heart.
Cooki's parting words, words I love to hear...
"This is one pup you'll never have to worry about"!

Hi Deb, just want to let you know that Nina and the family are doing just fine! She had all kinds of visitors last night to welcome her, my son is in love!! One little hitch is that Nina is a little stubborn about her crate and we didn't get much sleep last night. I am hoping for a better night tonight but she wants to be with me and doesn't like if I separate from her for too long. I think she's a little spoiled, but a more loving and affectionate dog you won't find. She loves everyone, the belly rugs the kisses it's amazing. Thank you for all the hard work and love you put into these babies, it certainly shows!

Thanks Cooki, I'm glad you're enjoying Nina and are already broadening her horizons by exposing her to a variety of people. That's probably the number one best thing you can do for a young doberkid. Sorry about the lack of sleep and hope tonight is better. I've found they are most content if the crate is kept in the bedroom. I actually keep two crates for pups. One in my sleeping quarters for sleep and one in the living quarters for time out or chill time.

Thanks for the tip about putting a crate in the bedroom with us. I'll give it a try if tonight doesn't get a little better. OMG, I don't know what I'm going to do when she gets big, she wants to be a little baby and be in my lap, she's adorable now she lays over both feet...LOL!! She couldn't get any closer to me if she tried!!!
