Definitely getting down to the wire here. Jess is doing fabulous... basically just her and I playing the waiting game. She's pretty plump and already has a good supply of milk prepared for youngins'. Your guess is as good as mine as to how many pups she's hiding but we will know soon. My guess within the next 24-48 hours.

We so excited! We hope she has an easy go of it! Our guess is 6 males and 6 females will be born on the 27th!

I have been checking my phone and the webpage nonstop today! Very excited and no matter how many puppies Majestic has, I hope all are born healthy and the delivery goes smoothly for mother and puppies and for you as well Ms. Cruz!

Thanks Robin! My girls and their pups are always my first and foremost concern. Jess is a healthy, strong Dobe and historically has been a fabulous mother. Regardless, I always go in prepared to assist at the least and seek medical/vet attention should the need arise.

Thanks for thinking of us... no nesting behavior as of yet so I think I might actually get a good nights sleep. But... with that being said, Jess doesn't typically have a huge need or desire to rearrange that which is prepared for her.

Thanks Amy and Mark! 9 huh? ... well that's a good number too. A decent sized litter -more easily managed than when there's more. We'll see. :-)
