Another pup is chosen along with another name!
And a bit of an upset is created.
Dennis has been chomping at the bit to get the opportunity to call one of these precious pups his own. As a result he's been watching the blog closely for updates as the pups work their magic on their callers and are removed from the "available" list.
Red Girl, with her feisty ways was chosen this evening by Chico and will from this point forward be known as Maya, a name Chico told me of quite some time ago.
Problem is, when Dennis noticed I place a name by Red in the line up and on her page he texted that Maya was the name he had waiting for his girl as well. When asked my advise or of the appropriateness of two dogs from the same litter sharing the same name, I told him to stick with his name. When it comes to giving them their registered names it's highly unlikely they will continue to share the same name. If they end up the same at that point, all parties involved better rush out and buy a lottery ticket! Congrats Chico on your girl and no worries Dennis. I like the name!
