Good Morning from life in "the sticks". Just a quick update before I get back to work to let you know things are progressing well. Majestic's plumpness continues to be more evident as the days march on. And her pups are kicking. Soft kicks at this point but kicks none the less.
In other news, I continue to try and get a handle on the leaves around here. Collecting and burning... and more collecting and burning. I must say it's nice to have equipment once again that's dependable and ready to perform when the weather cooperates and I find myself with the time. Serious has been my farm dog for the most part the past couple days, alternating at times with Boss. I'd love to let them romp together for the exercise and camaraderie but tend to keep things tame when there's a huge fire pit in the works. It seems regardless of who I've got out to be my farm dog for the day, they're great helpers providing much needed moral support and some entertainment. And they love their job! All of them like to be outside on nice days... but they seem to really enjoy watching me work! And I enjoy watching them. Maybe today I'll take my camera on board the Hustler and share my view... But for now the leaves, once again are calling.
Tomorrow I have plans to take a trip down south to meet up with a few of the members from my "Let's Take The Dogs" Facebook Group. Our day will be spent in St Petersburg as we venture out to have some good clean fun, a bite to eat and some always welcome socialization. Plans include a walk through the streets of downtown St Pete followed by a trip to the dog beach at Fort Desoto. As always I'll have my camera in tow and will post some photos of out get together on the above mentioned page. It sounds like it's going to be a fairly small turnout though... 4 dogs and their handlers including me and more than likely Boss. Hope you all have a fabulous day.
