And once again the selection process surprised me. It always does. It seems somewhat litter specific... some litters everyone wants the largest pups. This one the smaller ones were hot! You just never know. You also never know, as I mentioned before, which pups will actually be the largest or conversely the smallest at maturity. One thing's for sure though, they're all destined to grow into beautiful specimens of the breed. I remain very happy with the litter as a whole and have no doubt each of you will be happy with your pup.
With that said, the selection process for the girls is complete. Dennis chose Orange and will name his girl, Maya. Julie is still contemplating names for Pink but it sounds like Hadley is a strong possibility. Pink and Orange are both beautiful pups who never failed to make my life easy when it came to posing for the camera.
Regarding this weeks photos, they remain a work in progress and are becoming predictably and progressively more difficult to obtain. These pups have developed a very good follow me and will travel all around the property at my heels during their solo outings. When in a group, they're rambunctious. They were full of energy and rearing to go today after lunch when I freed them from their confinement that I call their meal station. With their belly's full and after a brief nap, I allowed them their romp and roll but had to cut their outing fairly short in order to get some grounds maintenance done. I'll try again tomorrow to capture some shots and with any luck I'll have each pups' page updated by Thursday. I intend to get their weight again tonight before calling it a night and will get them posted early tomorrow.
Also tomorrow, Paul plans to visit to stake claim on his boy and the puppy selection process will officially come to a close.
