News on the home front for those of you waiting for a pup from Lexi's spring litter. Lex is starting to show her condition, developing a somewhat obvious baby bump. She's also getting a bit more Velcro than usual which is her norm. Majestic's pups, for those of you that aren't following the current blog, are growing like weeds and reaching new milestones daily. I finally got the little monsters eating regular crunchy kibble and they will be going in for their crops late next week and early the following. They are tentatively scheduled to join their families on the 6th of April and the 8th. The timing is a little tight but will be adequate to re-acclimate and reorganize. Majestic will spend a couple more restful nights in the bedroom with me in the absence of her pups while I give my bedroom/whelping station a deep clean and prepare for new arrivals and a guest. Lexi's anticipated due date is April 19th and my sister has scheduled her yearly visit which will coincide. For once I don't have to worry about schedule changes etc at work to ensure I'll be home to welcome new life. My sis is looking forward to the process and I'm looking forward to her company and to a much needed vacation.
