As was the case with Lexi's 1st litter, I held off announcing Majestic's 1st litter until pregnancy could be confirmed. That being said, GMBD's is excited and proud to announce Majestic will be experiencing motherhood 1st hand round about February 11th. To this point she's simply been an observer, watching from a distance.
As with all 1st time moms, Majestic's mothering instincts are yet to be seen. And while I anticipate no problems, I will be equip and prepared to deal with any that may arise. Witnessing the birth of a litter is an exciting event and an event I never want to miss with any of my dogs. But it's also, to some degree, a nerve racking experience. Jess's pregnancy is progressing as I would expect at this point. Her appetite is about 3 times her norm, she's picking up weight and showing her condition. But otherwise, she's taking her pregnancy in stride and going about business as usual. For my girl, her precious cargo, and myself my fingers are crossed for an uneventful term and delivery! The photo left is of Jess watching with interest, GMBD's very first litter. Hopefully she's been taking notes and committing a few things to memory ;-)
