Yes, preparing!! And end of the year at work (Finance and HR) is always a handful... affirmative action, W2's, holiday parties and bonuses etc! I will be taking time off to be with the puppy so I am trying to get ahead.
I think we have all of the puppy supplies ready, and the week after Christmas we will take down the tree and replace it with the puppy's "room" (a pin with toys, water and blankets) for when we have to leave it for more than 10 seconds!
We have been getting thoughts organized and on the same page about how we will train her. Scrambles will be our first dog of our own, so we are deciding what she will do while we eat, who takes her out at night, what happens when the doorbell rings etc! I am nervous and excited to see how she does with the two cats (who are friends and play all the time). I check your blog every day at least once!
I am so excited to meet her (so soon!!).
I've been pretty busy too Simone... not so much with Holiday stuff but just trying to juggle the pups and get a few things caught up around here. I've started making appointments for people to come meet the pups. Dates are reflected on the reservation page. I've been trying to get ahold of Linell for a couple days now. Left message. As soon as I make contact with her I'll let you know so you can come meet your girl too. Sounds like you and Max are on the right track and are going to be well prepared all around. Great job!
Great! Just so you have the dates after you and Linell are able to connect... We would be able to meet her on any of the following days that Max isn't on shift over the next three weeks:
12/16, 12/17, 12/19, 12/20, 12/22, 12/23, 12/26, 12/28 or 12/29.
After 5 PM would be best on the weekdays, but with a few days notice I can make any time work.
