I think you will all be pleased with my choice of mate for her. Dark Lynk is a beautiful dog with a great temperament. At age 7 1/2 he's successfully sired many litters and is still going strong. He's my girl Majestic's dad and I've always admired him and adore her.
Day forty is here and as with previous dogs and previous pregnancies I can finally confirm without doubt pups are on the way. How many and of what sex of course is not known and won't be known until they arrive. I'm hoping for a large litter with an abundance of boys so all on the wait list can begin preparations for a new addition to their families! At this point in time though my concern lies with Skye, -that she has an uneventful pregnancy followed by an easy delivery. She's doing great! Still full of spunk and energy but I've noticed just in the past couple days she's beginning to move a little slower and sleep a little more. She's got a ravenous appetite too. Never lost it which I thought somewhat unusual. My experience of past coincides with what I've read that dogs, like people, frequently go through a phase of morning sickness and their appetite takes a nose dive. Her lack of loss of appetite and no obvious change in temperament or personality combined with the commotion around the time of heat had me seriously doubting a pregnancy. I think you will all be pleased with my choice of mate for her. Dark Lynk is a beautiful dog with a great temperament. At age 7 1/2 he's successfully sired many litters and is still going strong. Whoo hoo!!!! We are so excited! Hoping that Skye's pregnancy is as uneventful as possible. Dark Lynk is gorgeous... no surprise as you picked him... We looked him up on Charismatic website though we didn't realize he was Majestic's dad.

You're welcome and yes, he's a nice boy. Big dog. And Skye's a pretty big girl. While I don't aim for oversized dogs the lineage kind of dictates they may be a bit over standard. But beautiful! I wonder if you two are the only ones that know the blog is up and running??? Hope to have an active group surrounding this litter!

I'll definitely write a post and mention the Facebook page Simone. I think I told you one of my puppy parents from the last litter developed a litter specific group page. They all seem to enjoy it. Some post more regularly than other of course but everyone checks in from time to time. It's been great. They ask each other questions and ask for suggestions at times. And I love seeing my pups grow up! i need to update my website and puppy pages with some of the photos they've posted. There are tons! Looks like I might have to text or make some calls to let people know the blog is up and running. Maybe tomorrow.

Hi Deb, both dogs are very beautiful. I hope to one day finally be able to have a Doberman. But I enjoy watching your litters grow. I don’t have Facebook so I check your blog often. So please update as often as possible.

Thanks so much for checking in Holly! I'm glad you've enjoyed the blog and yes, I've been slacking a bit on the main blog. It seems stuff just keeps happening that needs to be caught up with between litters. But my litter blogs never go with out updates. Pups and dogs rule the roost when I've got pups in the house They take priority over all else. If trees come down, tornados and hurricanes visit... it's still just about pups. As long as everything is safe and secure "stuff" can wait. Someday you'll have a Doberman. Always best to have everything in order before adding any dog to the family. <3!
