Hope everyone remembered to adjust... Means I have an extra hour to prepare for incoming. An extra hour in a busy schedule is always a good thing I guess. I remember a time working nights though that this particular time change wasn't welcome at all. So I guess everything's relative.
Tomorrows plans include preparing my bedroom for the addition of Skye's whelping box. We're getting close!
Skye's doing great. She's definitely picked up the pounds and has a nice full belly with just shy of a week to go. If she makes it to term. They often don't so I figure I need to be ready within the next couple days! Lot's of thumpin' and kickin' going on in there. I'm predicting a nice size litter and I'm getting excited to she what she's hiding! Personality wise she remains very much her usual. You'd honestly never know she was pregnant if it wasn't for the size of her! She does deflect the advances of the other dogs somewhat which confirms to me she's sensible. She's moving a little slower and definitely with less agility too. I moved an ottoman up along side the bed so she can have an easy time getting on and off. She's been my sole bed companion for the past few days. No more rotating but I do take some time for cuddles with each of the others so jealousy doesn't rear it's ugly head too high. Well, I guess that's about it for now... looking forward to an exciting update as I'm sure each of you are too.
