Drita is already getting acclimated to her new surroundings as Suzy and Jeff met me and took their pup home straight from the office. That first evening post crop can be a great bonding time as the pups remain a little subdued from the anesthesia. In general, I like to keep my pups overnight though so I can assess them the next morning and make sure they're behaving at that time like I've always known them too. Fortunately they always have.
Scrambles too, is settling in to her new surroundings as Max and Simone came to pick her up while the boys and Drita were undergoing their breed specific beautification.
It's great to already see some photos streaming in and to see the pups settling in with a good degree of confidence to the previously unknown. The reports without photos describe the same scenario. I'm happy with the litter and carry a feeling of serenity knowing I'm passing them to good and capable hands. An important part of breeding I think... getting to know the people who have opened their hearts and homes assuming the role of their caretaker going forward. The main reason I don't care to ship. Just not personable enough for me... or for my pups. Hoping for another peaceful night and the same for each of you!
